Ackert Architecture was founded in 2000 by Kimberly A. Ackert A.I.A and has offices in New York City and Hudson, New York.  The firm's approach to design focuses on creating interior spaces and buildings that are clean, modern and environmentally conscious.  Our project portfolio includes all scales and types of projects from public to private and from city to country and from residential to commercial.   Our decision making process is driven by  the beauty and importance of natural day lighting and further inspired by the selection of rich and environmentally sound materials.  We believe in creating a close collaboration between the three key players of any project :  the client, the builder and the architect because in our experience, all three are necessary for a successful outcome.
