This spacious house was designed for an urban site in the center of Singapore City which is known for its hot and humid climate year round. To achieve a sense of separation and tranquility from the noisy city environment, the plan organizes itself into three main pavilions surrounded by water gardens. Natural rainfalls in this equatorial climate provide a fresh and abundant water source therefore capitalizing on the environment to reinforce the design.
