Paris is a city of angles and diagonal boulevards culminating in grand monuments and vistas. To communicate the feel of the Parisian streetscape, a series of gridded and perforated panels similar to building facades, were set on a diagonal grid to create an abstracted urban narrative of open and closed vistas across the gallery. The varying gray tones of the panels set up a neutral backdrop for the colorful Parisian ensembles. Raised platforms were edged with the warm glow of Parisian street lamps on a spring night.
