Put together by a team of curators including Colleen Hill, Elizabeth Way, Emma McClendon and Fred Dennis, this extensive Anniversary Tribute touched on 33 Exhibitions spanning the Museum’s 50 year history. This particular Exhibition included 80 of the most memorable ensembles chosen from 200 different openings. The challenge of the design was to provide a neutral but elegant visual separation between the collections so that each and every exhibition could be appreciated and identified. This was achieved with the use of large perforated wooden screens arranged in various configurations to create a layered sequence and backdrop. The screens were created with the aid of computer numerically controlled machines and lit with brilliant colors.
