Upper East Side Fitness Room

We’re staying in shape this summer!  One of our projects is the design of a brand new Fitness Room located in the expansive cellar space of a Landmark pre-war apartment house on the Upper East Side of Manhattan.  Continuing with our theme of well developed and contoured ceilings, we really went for it this time with the subterranean vibe!  Arches are symbols of strength so what could be better in a gym that a series of extruded barrel vaults from one end to other?  We will be stretching our design muscles on this one!
